Soulful groove mixologist Maurice aka 'Mojavi', pronounced (mõ-hä´vee), has been motivated and nurtured by music from an early age. Gospel and Soul music inspired roots have been a long part of his development. Since those first House and Underground notes and melodic rhythms from N.Y., Chicago grabbed his attention back in the late 70's & early 80's. Maurice has been hooked on the movement of music labeled by some as 'HOUSE'. Other music forms i.e. Salsa, Reggae, World Beat, Afro Pop, Jazz, and Blues have been and always will be incorporated into the gumbo of his table setting dancefloor moving set.
